Every Role, Side by Side
Starting monthly salaries for all 18 roles we place, ordered from lowest to highest.
How to Read This Comparison
Every figure below is a starting monthly salary in PKR, paid by the household directly to the staff member. It is a floor, not a ceiling: experience, household size, live-in status and city all move the actual agreed figure upward from here. A cook for a family of three in a smaller city sits near the starting rate; a cook handling three meals a day for a large household in Islamabad sits meaningfully above it.
Across the roles we place, the ladder currently runs from helpers at PKR 25,000 / month up to domestic couples at PKR 60,000 / month (combined). That spread is not arbitrary. It tracks how much independent judgment a role carries, how specialised the skill is, and how hard the position is to fill from a standing local pool.
Our own fee sits outside this table entirely. Staffly charges one month's salary as a one-time placement fee, paid once when you hire, with no ongoing commission taken from the staff member's monthly pay. Whatever figure you agree below is what they actually receive.

Why Some Roles Cost Considerably More
The largest single driver is specialised skill that takes years to acquire and cannot be taught on the job in a few weeks. A chef commands more than a cook because formal culinary training is a genuinely different tier of capability, not a marketing distinction. A home nurse commands more than a general caretaker for the same reason.
The second driver is independent judgment. A driver navigating city traffic with your children in the car, or a security guard deciding who to admit at a gate at two in the morning, is trusted with decisions nobody is supervising in the moment. Roles carrying that weight price higher than roles where the work is directed and visible.
The third is simple scarcity. Roles requiring a narrow combination of skills, a nanny with genuine infant experience who also speaks English, take longer to fill from any standing pool, and that shows up in what candidates can reasonably ask for.
What Moves a Salary Above the Starting Figure
Live-out arrangements typically cost more in cash terms than live-in, since live-in includes accommodation and meals as part of the package. Household size matters directly: cooking for eight is not the same job as cooking for three, and pricing it as though it were is the most reliable way to lose a good cook within a few months.
City matters too, though less than households often assume. The gap between Islamabad and a mid-sized city is real but narrower than the gap between a light workload and a heavy one in the same city. Per-role detail on all of these factors sits on each role's own salary guide page.
Underpaying Is the Most Expensive Choice
The most common costly mistake we see is a household anchoring on the lowest figure in this table and treating it as the target rather than the floor. A staff member paid below what their skills command locally will leave for a better offer, usually within a few months, and the household then absorbs the disruption of an empty role plus a fresh search. Paying a fair market rate from the start is cheaper over any realistic time horizon than paying the minimum twice.
Every placement we make carries a 6-month free replacement guarantee, but a guarantee protects you against a genuine mismatch. It is not a substitute for setting terms a good candidate would actually accept.
